Applicability
The following terms of sale regulate the relationship between you, the customer, and Gammon when you shop at www.gammon.eu The Consumer Sales Act and The Distance Sales and Door-to-Door Sales Act apply to private consumers and the Sale of Goods Act applies to companies.
Personal details
Personal details are stored in our customer database when an order is placed. Unauthorised persons do not have access to this database and the information will not be sold or rented to third parties.
Ordering
You may only order goods from www.gammon.se if you are aged 18 years or older.
Prices
All prices are in Euro and are inclusive of VAT. The price you will be charged is the price quoted on the pricelist the day the order is placed. The prices given are per item inclusive of VAT for deliveries withing EU. Shipping charges outside Sweden are calculated on the weight and volume for each order. When you have logged in, you will see the total sum including shipping charges before you confirm your order. We make reservations against obvious pricing errors.
Cancelling an order
You may cancel any order provided that the order has not yet entered the dispatch process. The dispatch process starts in most cases when an invoice and shipping documents are drawn up. Cancellations may not be made after this time. As the customer, you are obliged to accept the delivery of any order not cancelled before we start the dispatch process. Cancellations of any item which we do not keep in stock and which we have specially purchased on your behalf from our supplier may not be made after we have ordered the item from our supplier. To cancel an order please contact us via e-mail info@gammon.se and remember to give us your order number. A cancellation is not valid until you have received a confirmation from us.
Payment options
Fakturera mig Payment on invoice Gammon invoices through KLARNA and their Fakturera mig service. If you choose to pay on invoice we need to have your civil registration number (personnummer). In order to pay by invoice you must be registered in the Civil Register at the Swedish, Danish, Finish or Norwegian Tax Agency and 18 years of age. Your delivery address must be the same as your address in the Civil Register and you must not have any remarks against your credit rating. You must choose the currency for your country. The invoice will be included in your delivery. Terms of payment are 14 days net. A reminder will be sent to you if your invoice is not paid within the time stipulated and you will be charged for the reminder, at present Euro 5, as well as default interest charges according to the current reference rate and an additional 24%. If this reminder is not paid on time, the matter will be referred to a collection agency. If you choose to pay on invoice, there will be a service charge of Euro 2. Payment by credit card We accept VISA and MasterCard. We offer full 3-D Secure encoding through our partner Payer. Payer will also be the receiver name given on your statement of account.
Internet bank You may also pay via your Internet bank. At present Internet bank payments may be made through Swedbank and Handelsbanken and more Internet banks will be available soon. You will be put through to your Internet bank, where you log on and make your payment as usual.
Delivery times
Deliveries generally take one week. (International deliveries may take somewhat longer.) As far as possible we will deliver all items you have ordered in the same delivery. If, for any reason, an item cannot be delivered by the estimated delivery date, we will send your order in more than one delivery. In this case, Gammon will, of course, cover any extra shipping charges.
Delivery options
If the parcel is small, it will be delivered direct to your letter box. Larger parcels will be delivered to your nearest post office or its local representative. Orders will be delivered as postal parcels or letters/bulky letters.
Deliveries to another address
If you would like your order delivered to another address, please enter the shipping address in the appropriate field.
Transport
Gammon is responsible in the event any item is damaged or lost in transit from Gammon to the customer. As the customer, you are responsible if any item is damaged or lost in transit when you return it to Gammon. If you receive a parcel and see that the contents have been damaged in transit, please notify your post office or its local representative at once. In the event they do not take responsibility for the damaged parcel, contact us.
Parcels not collected
We will charge you Euro 20 regardless of the price of your purchase to cover our handling and shipping costs for any parcel which is not collected. This is to be paid within (14) days of the date on the invoice.
Exchanges/Returns
You may withdraw from a purchase of an item or exchange it for another item within 14 days. The item must be unused/in its original condition and returned in its original packaging along with any original documents. Contact us via e-mail info@gammon.se before you return your parcel. Remember to give us your order number, the invoice number if you have been invoiced and the name of the item to be returned. Let us also know if you would like to exchange the item for another one or if you would like a refund. Please note that you are responsible for the shipping cost and eventual transport damage or loss when returning an item to us. We will send you an e-mail once your returned item/s has been inspected and accepted/ not accepted. We will not redeem parcels sent to us C.O.D or where postage has not been paid in full. Our returns or exchange guarantee does not apply to SALE items.
Claims
If a delivered item is incorrect, defective or damaged in transit, send us an e-mail, info@gammon.se as soon as possible. Specify the product in question and describe the problem. Remember to give us your order number and your invoice number, if you have chosen to pay on invoice. If you return an item because it was incorrectly dispatched, defective or damaged, you are responsible for the transport risk, but not for the return postage. We will not redeem items sent to us C.O.D.
Returned items
We reserve the right to replace a defective item which is returned to us with an equivalent one when an identical item is not available at the time.
Information
We cannot take responsibility for printing errors, inaccurate information and errors in specification regarding any of the products in our assortment. All pictures on our pages are to be considered as illustrations and we cannot guarantee a picture reflects the exact appearance of the product.
Disputes
In the case of a dispute where the purchaser is a private person, our policy is to always follow the recommendations of The National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN). Disputes between two or more companies are generally settled in court.
Force Majeure
Gammon shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of war, natural catastrophe, disputes on the labour market, government restrictions, non-delivery from suppliers and any comparable event beyond our control which cannot be considered reasonably predictable, and which affect the entered agreement as well as our commitments.
Miscellaneous
Prices and conditions are subject to alteration without notice. It is important that that you take note of our current prices before placing an order. The price that you will be charged and conditions which are valid are those quoted on the day the order is placed. We make reservations against obviously inaccurate information and for items that are out of stock.
